      Family against Anorexia

      Treatment and family

To treat this disease the first thing should be clear is that what affects the young is the psychological. So, it must first find ways to improve mental disorders, of course, too, go immediately to improve the nutritional quality of the body.

To improve the nutritional quality should considerably increase the adolescent weight. It is important that this process the family is in constant contact with the person concerned, and that affection can help the process of food intake. This is because the patient needs support to feed the right way to regain lost weight. Even when the patient reaches the appropriate weight despite his size, does not mean it is completely healed, relapse can occur if not treated in the psychic field.

For this is good to have therapy, look for the "why" of using stop feeding properly. Inform the parents that this disease is, how it can affect their children, their thoughts, feelings and personality.

To be successful in curing the disease must go to parents and medical centers and institutions to assist the affected (Association of Relatives of Eating Disorders.)
